The FTC’s Proposed Ban on Non-Competes - What Does It Mean?

The Federal Trade Commission  ("FTC") has proposed a rule to ban non-compete agreements. The proposed rule is the one issued on January 5^th, 2023 by the FTC that would prohibit employers from entering into non-competes with workers, including independent contractors.
